I love to write sassy, strong heroines who, unfortunately, tend to get into desperate situations. You'll find some stories funny and others dark, but I'm a believer in happy endings. Even if it takes some time and wading through a lot of trouble to get there. 

 MY BOOKS

I hope you'll enjoy the first novel in the Cherry Tucker mysteries, PORTRAIT OF A DEAD GUY, (Henery Press, 2012). I was thrilled to find out PORTRAIT had finalled for the 2012 Daphne du Maurier Award for Excellence in Mystery/Suspense and has gotten lovely reviews from Mystery Scene Magazine, the Examiner.com, and Mystery Tribune among others.

STILL LIFE IN BRUNSWICK STEW, Cherry Tucker Mystery #2, releases May 21, 2013 with Henery Press. Cherry's got a mess of trouble with poisonings, battling plantations, and a gallery show featuring nekkid men.

COMING UP

Look for a Cherry Tucker prequel in a Christmas Mystery Anthology coming December 9, 2013. My Henery Press writing friends, Terri L. Austin, LynDee Walker, and I are having a lot of fun making trouble in Memphis with three mysteries set at the Heartache Motel starring Cherry, Rose Strickland, and Nichelle Clarke!

Also coming in November is a Cherry Tucker Mystery #3, HIJACK IN ABSTRACT. 

In the meantime, I'm working on Cherry's next mystery plus other projects with new characters. Check back for news on upcoming releases. Also watch for events where I can meet with you both live and on the internet.
