After the explosion of deals and drops in the book world last month, January seems pretty quiet. For myself, I'm focused on writing and I think that's true of my writing friends. December is so busy and I'm always anxious to have a quiet January where I can get back to work on my characters. Plus, my goals for all the books and stories I want to write in the new year-- usually far exceeding reality -- makes me anxious to stay deep in my writer cave.
